Qualifier Blogs: Full Speed Ahead!

Joseph Jonathan M. Hiponia

It was a bright sunny morning.
I set off for an adventure of a life time.
Packed with delicious breakfast, we conquered the rough dirt road just to reach the base of Delta Discovery Park.
We immediately bought the tickets for the everlasting spring and pool and the thrilling zip line.

Before being allowed to ride the zip line, your parents (or any adult for that matter) have to sign a waiver. That makes it quite scary. It likes being told that you’ll have to get ready to die if any accidents happen.
We we’re pretty much excited until we stepped foot on the place where you get all zipped and locked for safety.
The strong wind makes you feel like you’re going to fall. The other end of the zip line seems to be so far away.
As the gate opens, the operators push you with all their might.
Only relying on gravity, I realized it was really an adventure not a child’s play.
I erased all the fear and worries in my mind and asked myself, “Joseph, why are you worrying? This isn’t your first time”.

I was probably worried that I might puke after the ride, since I just ate a heavy breakfast.
So much for that, I zipped my way all the way to the other end with smiles and no worries at all.
To wrap things up, Delta is an amazing place where you can forget all your worries and enjoy yourself.
It is a place for people who would like to explore the vast forest that awaits them.
I’ll be back once the 1.3 kilometer zip line is fully operational.
I’ll make sure that I’ll be securing a place in the first 1,000 people that will ride Asia’s longest, most thrilling and most exciting zip line!

If you’re the type of person that loves getting lost in guided trails and enjoys zipping through enormous tall trees, you’ll love Delta Discovery Park.

What was thought to be impossible for Butuan City is now a reality.
This is no dream, if things fall according to plan, the 1.3 km zip line will be fully operational in less than a month!
ATO INI, KADYAWON TA!
